We met and eventually fell in love in 2015 over our obsession with music, photography, coffee and spontaneous road trips along the west coast. We’re currently married and living in Nashville, TN with our beautiful daughters, Lyric Indie and Emery Fae.
Now why are we called Clay & Kaly? Clay is the first four letters of Danielo’s middle name, Claydean. And Kaly is the first 4 letters of Lillian’s maiden last name, Kalyuzhnyy. Both names have a deep, special tie to our heritages, and oddly enough, the full translation of Kalyuzhnyy is literally mud, or clay.

DANIELO: Our California roadtrips down the coast to Disneyland. We always spent three days at the parks and our oldest always loved it!
MY happiest memory
LILLY: My mom and sisters plane broke down in Rwanda. We ended up taking a bus to the neighboring country, Uganda, where we lived and served at an orphanage for a month. Best. Time. Ever.

LILLY: I wanted to help other people. I wasn't sure how I'd do it, but I really wanted to travel across the world and give back.

DANIELO: I wanted to be a professional basketball player! I loved sports and was very active growing up.

LILLY: Life. Right now. I am married to a goofball and love my kids so much. Moving across country is hard. Leaving friends and family is hard. Building a business is hard. But I've never felt more fulfilled.

DANIELO: My family. It's better than I could have ever imagined, and I hope to continue to make them proud!
